In this role, you will oversee the delivery of CAD production, quality assurance, and reporting in a dynamic, multi-project environment. Your leadership will ensure that CAD drafters are effectively managed, workflows are optimized, and all design outputs adhere to the highest quality standards. You'll be balancing priorities, tracking project progress, and providing insightful reports that influence project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. Your contribution is essential for the successful execution of our projects, promoting efficiency and professionalism throughout the CAD processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting/design or team management.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong knowledge of CAD production standards and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio).
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
• Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking.
• Must have interim secret clearance or active secret clearance preferred.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the production of CAD deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
• Assign tasks and set priorities for CAD drafters to meet project timelines.
• Monitor project status and team workload, reallocating resources as needed.
• Serve as the primary contact for project managers regarding CAD workflows.
• Develop and enforce CAD standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Conduct regular quality checks on drawing outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide reports on team performance and project quality metrics.
• Act as the main liaison between the CAD team and other departments.
• Maintain expertise in CAD tools and ensure team proficiency.
• Lead software updates and training initiatives.
