About The Position

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing practical and ethical legal advice to commercial leaders while drafting and negotiating crucial agreements. Your expertise will support some of the largest global clients in navigating complex legal landscapes. You will focus on implementing business strategies in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to collaborate across various departments to ensure seamless deal execution. Your role will not only involve legal responsibilities but also relationship building within the team and with external stakeholders.

Requirements

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active Bar admission.
5-6 years of business law experience, preferably in data licensing or market research.
Experience in structuring and negotiating complex transactions.
Familiarity with market research services and commercial contracts.
Ability to draft and negotiate agreements under time constraints.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for a global team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Participate in deploying global corporate legal and regulatory policies and procedures.
Provide rapid, practical legal/commercial advice to business operations.
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including confidentiality agreements.
Collaborate closely with internal legal and business teams to drive deal execution.
Support global legal initiatives and partner with functional leaders.
Engage actively in legal department meetings.
Handle other assignments from the General Counsel.
