About The Position

Skillforce is seeking highly skilled remodeling professionals and trim carpenters for a long term project in West Memphis, AR. This position is working 40-50 hours/week and pay is up to $34 depending upon experience. Ideal candidates are well-rounded tradespeople with strong finish skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires versatility across multiple phases of remodeling work.

Requirements

2+ years of experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in remodeling and trim carpentry
Strong knowledge of finish work, doors, drywall, and painting
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Skilled with hand and power tools
Reliable transportation and tools preferred
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor as required

Responsibilities

Perform trim carpentry, including base, casing, crown molding, and finish work
Hang interior and exterior doors, including hardware installation
Complete drywall repairs and patching, texture matching preferred
Painting and surface preparation (walls, trim, doors, touch-ups)
Assist with general remodeling tasks on office and residential projects
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
Read and follow project plans, scopes of work, and instructions
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
