Requirements

• Reside within the service area
• Have 2+ years of paid handyman experience
• Own basic hand tools
• Be insurable for company vehicle use
• Pass a background and driving record check
• Lift 50+ pounds and work at heights when needed
• Maintain a professional appearance (uniforms provided) and company vehicle
• Candidates should be proficient in at least three (3) of the following trades: Carpentry Bathroom & Kitchen Improvements Painting (Interior & Exterior) Drywall Repair & Installation Basic Electrical Flooring Installation & Refinishing Building Code Familiarity

Responsibilities

• Complete Maintenance & Repairs – Perform small to large home and commercial repairs
• Communicate with Customers – Help customers understand their repair needs, provide estimates, and manage expectations.
• Build Lasting Relationships – Follow the Mr. Handyman Way to ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience, leading to repeat business.
• Encourage customer feedback and maintain high satisfaction scores.
• Maximize opportunities by identifying additional ways to assist customers.
• Ensure proper invoicing, material sourcing, and timely payment collection.
• Deliver work correctly the first time to uphold our one-year service guarantee.
