We are currently seeking an experienced Renovation Technician to join our Health Center team. If you’re looking for a different perspective on healthcare and senior living come join us today! The Renovation Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the renovations department. Conducting under supervisor direction, construction-related tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Minimum of one-year experience building construction, maintenance, or general labor services
Knowledge of equipment used in construction or other related work
Skilled in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with others
Able to learn simple tasks
Able to operate hand and power tools
Able to lift and carry equipment or materials applicable to the assigned work
Able to understand oral and written instructions
Able to read and follow blueprints and diagrams

Nice To Haves

Have some Technical Schooling and/or background preferred

Responsibilities

Remodel / Unit Turnover
Assists with apartment turnover.
Supports unit renovations through demo, framing, minor repairs, trim work, hauling/cleanup, and general jobsite assistance.
May operate company truck for the purpose of transporting workers, construction materials, and light equipment
Performs general maintenance duties, such as: carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting
Completes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy
Performs minor building and equipment repairs
Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition
Accomplishes work in the order of priority set by supervisor
Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts
Performs daily tasks in a safe and workman-like manner in accordance with company policies
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
