We are currently seeking an experienced Renovation Technician to join our Health Center team. If you’re looking for a different perspective on healthcare and senior living come join us today! The Renovation Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the renovations department. Conducting under supervisor direction, construction-related tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of one-year experience building construction, maintenance, or general labor services
  • Knowledge of equipment used in construction or other related work
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with others
  • Able to learn simple tasks
  • Able to operate hand and power tools
  • Able to lift and carry equipment or materials applicable to the assigned work
  • Able to understand oral and written instructions
  • Able to read and follow blueprints and diagrams

Nice To Haves

  • Have some Technical Schooling and/or background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Remodel / Unit Turnover
  • Assists with apartment turnover.
  • Supports unit renovations through demo, framing, minor repairs, trim work, hauling/cleanup, and general jobsite assistance.
  • May operate company truck for the purpose of transporting workers, construction materials, and light equipment
  • Performs general maintenance duties, such as: carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting
  • Completes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy
  • Performs minor building and equipment repairs
  • Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition
  • Accomplishes work in the order of priority set by supervisor
  • Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts
  • Performs daily tasks in a safe and workman-like manner in accordance with company policies
  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
