About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Remediation Supervisor . The Remediation Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and supervising crews in the field at customer soil remediation project sites. 95-100% travel will be required to project sites. This position requires experience with civil or remediation experience with soil/dirt projects. Locations: Reno, NV or surrounding cities preferred- all other locations will be considered on a case by case basis Pay: $32-38 per/HR DOE; OT consistent while out on rotations ~Per Diem available daily, hourly competitive pay rates, travel costs covered by the company. The typical work schedule is 6 weeks on the road and then 1-week home. Why work for Clean Harbors? Requirements

  • Minimum High School education required
  • Experience in Civil or Remediation dirt/soil projects required
  • Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work
  • Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations
  • Knowledge of various types of equipment
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications
  • 3-5 years of experience in remediation or similar preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental field service operations preferred
  • 2-4 years supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid DL and acceptable MVR required
  • Ability to travel and fly is required

Nice To Haves

  • BS/BA in ASC or BS/BA Preferred
  • Emergency response supervisor training and Marine Spill Response training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues
  • Join a team with a focus on safely executing large technical remediation, environmental construction, and transportation and disposal projects across the country and internationally
  • Work with a customer base across several business lines, including regulatory, government, and military
  • Collaborate with other industry professionals across our Sales, Landfill, Incineration, Transportation, TSDF, and local office network leveraging the company’s turn-key approach to projects and customer service
  • Lead teams comprised of foreman, equipment operators, and other professionals
  • Travel to new locations to meet customers and field personnel and see projects in action
  • Work with the support from administrators, senior managers, and other support personnel and teams
  • Additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain licenses including a drone pilot’s license
