New York Air Brake is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician to join our team in Springfield, Missouri. This position is essential for the disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts in our manufacturing process. The technician will work on-site from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and will report directly to the Production Supervisor. The role involves operating semi-automatic equipment and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts.
Identify serviceable vs. non-serviceable parts.
Operation of semi-automatic equipment such as pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, and ultra-sonic washers.
Handle parts and tools in a safe manner.
Proper use of power and manual tools including impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, and hand tools.
Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of related experience.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Good mechanical skills and knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.
Ability to complete disassembly process without destroying parts.
