About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will perform a crucial role in managing several projects through all phases of the development lifecycle, observing generally accepted engineering principles. Project areas of focus include: initiation, planning, execution, release and closing. You will manage partner communications, project requirements, work breakdown, development engineering, testing and release. Your work directly impacts the strategic goals of Lifecycle Services. Some domestic travel may be required to meet with team members and facilitate project progress. You will report to the Director of Global Repair and Remanufacturing Operations and work hybrid from any of the main RA campuses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or Project Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management or project leadership role.
  • Experience with financial aspects of project management, percentage completion, revenue recognition, and project accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning, execution, risk management.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and tools such as PMI model, scheduling software and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of methodologies, such as Agile methodologies like Scrum, XP or Kanban.
  • Experience working in remanufacturing, industrial controls, hardware/software, product testing, manufacturing or continuation and product life-cycle engineering.
  • Advanced training or certifications in PMI/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Business Administration, Management, Operations or Project Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling, cost forecasting, monitoring, documentation, control and reporting on all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Coordinating internal and external development and test resources.
  • Working with resource managers and other project managers to ensure staffing, project alignment and integration.
  • Owning project priorities and delivery of project expectations.
  • Identifying any issues and mitigating risk among the project team.
  • Developing business and marketing strategies to optimize product performance.
  • Using project management techniques, tools and established standards to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Leading within a technical team environment and managing a geographically dispersed engineering and project delivery organization.
