About The Position

The Relocation Consultant (Part-Time) role at Relocity involves supporting clients and their employees throughout the relocation process. This position focuses on providing personalized assistance to relocating employees, helping them settle into their new city by offering expert knowledge, conducting research, and managing various aspects of their move. The role is remote with a flexible schedule, allowing consultants to manage their own time while ensuring a smooth transition for clients.

Requirements

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and education system.
• Experience in relocation or assisting others with relocation.
• Minimum of 5 years of residency in Chicago.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Experience managing one's own schedule and working remotely.
• Strong project/time management and scheduling skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Possession of a vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Extensive experience with technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop working relationships with relocating employees and provide expert knowledge of the city.
• Conduct local housing and school research for relocating employees.
• Assist with DMV and banking setup for new residents.
• Recommend social and cultural activities to enhance the relocating experience.
• Create customized area tours and client reports using Microsoft Office or GSuite products.
• Meet with relocating employees to discuss relocation-related issues, either in person, by phone, or using technology.
• Manage multiple client relocations simultaneously and perform other administrative duties as necessary.
