About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Religion Teacher for Grades 7 & 8 at St. Lawrence School who can develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students can grow in their understanding of religion and spirituality. In addition to teaching responsibilities, candidates must hold Level II security clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification for middle school education.
• Prior experience teaching religious education or related subjects to middle school students.
• Strong understanding of Catholic teachings to integrate them respectfully and inclusively into lesson plans.
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for education and commitment to fostering students' spiritual growth.
• Level II security clearance.

• Master's degree preferred
