Teaching Duties Teach Catholic high school Theology, experience with the high school learner preferred Provide normal supervisory duties and participate in faculty and related meetings as may be required. Develop positive communication with staff, students, administration and community. Provide the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. Be a Christian role model for students and comply with the educational philosophy of St. Augustine High School Requirements Possesses a degree from an accredited four-year institution with a major in Theology and the ability to teach at the high school level. Experience with instructional technology in classroom Has knowledge of the high school learner. Demonstrates a personal commitment to the philosophy of a Catholic education. Secondary teaching credential and/or master’s in theology strongly desired. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer and use a telephone. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the school, as well as maneuver throughout the school facility to attend meetings, briefings, and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend meetings or events. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Requirements
