About The Position

Relight / Gas Service Functions Relight residential and commercial gas services Perform hot-changes and service restorations Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose gas system issues Complete work orders and required documentation Maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs), if applicable Gas Plumbing Functions Examine and test gas piping systems for safety and compliance Install, repair, and modify natural gas piping Relocate meter set assemblies Join piping via mechanical couplings, fusion, or approved methods Apply for and pull permits when required Perform QA/QC tests and record measurements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6+ months hands-on experience in natural gas distribution or gas plumbing
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Fluent English (written & spoken safety instructions)
• Ability to pass: Pre-employment drug screening Background check Medical fit-for-duty evaluation
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOT Medical Card (if applicable)
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years plumbing or gas utility experience
• Experience with meter sets, regulators, and gas appliances
• Knowledge of local/state plumbing & fuel gas codes
