Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Current CA Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred but not required.
• Emergency or Specialty experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and specialty care to animals.
• Interface effectively with staff and clients using tact, patience, and professional courtesy.
• Perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates.
• Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP).
