About The Position

VCA Palmetto Animal Hospital is seeking a Relief Veterinarian to join the team at our AAHA accredited practice in sun soaked Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! General Practice are 10 hours shifts. Families throughout the Grand Strand trust VCA Palmetto Animal Hospital to provide quality compassionate veterinary care. Our practice consists of 8 exam rooms, with a dedicated comfort room and 2 exam rooms just for cats. We utilize state of the art equipment, including surgical laser, dental radiographs, ultrasound, digital radiographs, therapeutic laser, endoscopy, and excellent anesthesia monitoring. We do all this in a large treatment area, with separate surgery and dental suites. We are excited to offer stem cell therapy and acupuncture. We invite you to visit our recently built, 9,500 square foot facility and become acquainted with our team. One of the best parts of our practice is an experienced team who are very supportive of one another. Several of the staff have been working for VCA Palmetto for almost 20 years. We focus on delivering great client service, excellent patient care, and quality medicine. Great teamwork is a priority and a large part of the culture of the hospital. We have a strong relationship with the community and are the referral and emergency practice for many veterinary hospitals along the Grand Strand. Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
  • State veterinary license in good standing.
  • Experience in general practice preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stem cell therapy and acupuncture.
