About The Position

We are seeking an experienced relief Veterinarian to help with patient care at our Hospital. Providing professional medical, nutritional, wellness and diagnostic treatment of dogs and cats. Maintaining an average of 20 minute appointments.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent from an accredited university.
• A license to practice in the state in which she/he is employed.
• Professional mannerism and appearance.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to communicate directions and instructions clearly and effectively.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Respect for clients and their pets.
• Willingness to learn and use the computer.
• Ability to work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical, nutritional, wellness and diagnostic treatment of dogs and cats.
• Maintain an average of 20 minute appointments.
• Direct and guide Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants and other employees interacting with patient care.
• Practice the highest standard of medicine.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Uphold the veterinary code of ethics.
