About The Position

VCA Urgent Care Animal Hospital – College Park is seeking relief veterinarians to work with our team in Indianapolis, IN. We offer an innovative approach to urgent care fully utilizing technology, staffing and thoughtfully designed workflows. Our brand new warm and welcoming hospital environment is designed for pets and people. You will be supported by 2-4 associates per DVM including team members dedicated to help with your medical records. The focus is on connecting with clients, diagnosing pets, creating treatment plans, and writing medical notes. We support a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Current veterinary license in Indiana.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in urgent care or emergency veterinary medicine.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide same day care for common pet concerns such as allergic reactions, diarrhea or vomiting, ear infections, eye issues, fleas/ticks/mites, derm, wounds/lacerations, lethargy, loss of appetite, pain or limping, respiratory disease, toxin ingestion, and urinary issues.
• Connect with clients and diagnose pets.
• Create treatment plans and write medical notes.
