About The Position
The Relief Veterinarian at ZooTampa is responsible for providing temporary veterinary coverage under the direction of the Sr VP, Chief Conservation and Wildlife Health Officer. This role involves implementing and maintaining veterinary care standards as required by the Animal Welfare Act and AZA, ensuring the well-being of both zoo animals and rescued wildlife. The position is integral to the mission of ZooTampa, which focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for animals while creating exceptional experiences for guests and staff alike.
