About The Position

As a Relief Veterinarian at PetIQ, you will provide high-quality preventive care and client education in a flexible environment without the pressures of a full-service veterinary practice. Requirements

• Must be a licensed DVM in the state of Alabama or the state you wish to work in.
• Liability insurance of $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate.
• Ability to drive to various locations for clinics.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Proficiency in using an Apple iPad.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site veterinarian care at weekday and weekend community clinics.
• Perform brief medical exams, including checking vitals.
• Administer vaccines and conduct limited diagnostic testing.
• Microchip pets and trim nails as needed.
• Educate pet parents on preventive healthcare and available products.
• Update electronic medical records accurately.
• Deliver services in accordance with PetIQ medical standards and best practices.
• Strengthen the PetIQ brand through quality care and client interactions.
