About The Position

Relief Residential Crisis Clinician Broadway Crossings Crisis Residential Program The Opportunity Alliance is currently seeking a Relief Residential Crisis Clinician at our Broadway Crossing crisis residential program located in South Portland. Broadway Crossings is a short-term residential program, providing a therapeutic alternative to psychiatric hospitalization to adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The Relief Residential Crisis Clinician is a professional position, responsible for provision of treatment, coordination of care, collaboration, and crisis stabilization services for program clients as well as clinical consultation to support and oversee residential staff. This position contributes to accomplishment of the Agency mission through provision of direct clinical services, clinical consultation supporting the crisis program and supporting community-based options for crisis care on a per diem basis. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Director. Schedule : Per Diem Location : Onsite in South Portland, ME.

Requirements

  • Master of Social Work or Master of Counseling degree from accredited graduate school required
  • LCSW or LCPC preferred, conditional clinical licensure required
  • Minimum of 1 or more years of direct experience with Co-Occurring Disorders preferred.
  • Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
  • If residential or ECE employee, must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
  • Driving may be necessary in order to assist client transportation or driving to agency locations to complete work. A good driving record is required.
