About The Position

Exciting new opportunity for a full time Staff Pharmacist to work within our health center based pharmacy located inside Circle the City Healthcare Center in downtown Phoenix. Maxor offers an integrated approach to patient care, as the pharmacy team collaborates closely with the doctors and nurses in the healthcare center. The pharmacy team will be an integral part of the care team for each patient. So, you would have a direct hand in improving outcomes. This is a chance to make a difference in helping the under-served patient population in the communities we serve. We're looking for a caring, kind, customer service oriented pharmacist to join our rapidly growing company. Maxor National Pharmacy Services manages multiple pharmacies in the greater Phoenix area, and is headquartered in Amarillo, TX.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a Pharm D or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Current/Clear AZ Pharmacist license.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all dispensing duties of a pharmacist ensuring safe and accurate dispensing for all customers.
• Adhere to all State and Federal Pharmacy laws regarding the dispensing of medications and record keeping.
• Expand and enhance clinical services in the ambulatory care setting including Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Precept pharmacy students and residents.
• Serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals.
