Relief Operator - Casing
About The Position
Assist with rigging up and rigging down casing equipment: Ensure all equipment is properly set up and taken down safely. Monitor casing operations: Oversee the casing process to ensure it is performed correctly and safely when crew supervisor is on break. Troubleshoot equipment: Identify and resolve any issues with casing equipment to maintain smooth operations. Maintain communication: Work closely with rig personnel and supervisors to ensure clear and effective communication. Ensure safety compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned: Be flexible and ready to take on additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in casing operations or similar roles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and basic hand tool proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and endure outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be available for 24-hour on-call duty and willing to work extended hours.
- Self-motivated and a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to rise to challenges and develop creative solutions.
