The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performances Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to staff assigned to his/her shift. Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

Requirements

  • Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric facility preferred
  • Additional Skill Requirements: Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire.
  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
