About The Position
The Merchandiser - Large Store Relief duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, building displays, replenishing inventory on the customer's shelves, racks, and cold equipment. The position involves relieving Merchandiser routes, training Merchandisers, and presenting established and effective merchandising training methods. The role requires selling and executing at the store level, ensuring proper care of equipment and Company/customer assets daily, and maintaining product integrity in every account. This includes neatly stacked, condensed, and rotated backstock, clean coolers, and racks to Company standards. The Merchandiser will also organize and collect any breakage or out-of-date product, provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities, and work in partnership with the Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver to execute the picture of success. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all customers while providing superior customer service is essential.
