About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian as relief to join our team at VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast Calder Road. We are a nights, weekends and holidays facility open M-TH overnight from 6pm to 8am and 24hours on weekends and holidays. We are an AAHA accredited hospital with an excellent team that has been in the Bay Area for over 20 years! In this position you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to save pets’ lives. Requirements

• Experience as a veterinarian, particularly in emergency care.
• Strong medical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Board certification in a veterinary specialty.
• Experience in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Familiarity with AAHA standards.
