About The Position

Act as a relief long-haul driver when needed. When not assigned as a long-haul driver this position will work in the Warehouse or Processing Facilities in various positions. Work as a team member to make sure that packaged food products are staged or loaded for shipping according to customer specifications.

Requirements

Be able to demonstrate safe behaviors
Ability to follow directions
Work well with others
Be twenty-one (21) years or older.
Possess a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A).
Pass a D.O.T. Physical and drug screen exam.
Pass a D.O.T. road test.
Have a proven background in the operation of a class 8 vehicle.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 30-degree F to -20-degree F.
Ability to work well with others and show a positive attitude.
Record keeping ability and ability to read and write in English.
Must be able to adhere to all Department of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety standards
Must be able to adhere to all Riverence Provisions LLC., safety standards.
Work well as a team member.
Must maintain good attendance.
Ability to work flexible work schedules with varying hours as required.
Must accept assignments of co-drivers of diverse backgrounds including but not limited to race, color, religion, sex and national origin according to established job bid/assignment procedures.

Nice To Haves

Ability to communicate clearly in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Replace full time drivers during approved time off.
Shuttle equipment to and from the plant to various maintenance / repair agencies in the Magic Valley.
Shuttle and transport frozen products to and from our cold storage facility in Twin Falls (Henningsen’s)
Perform general warehouse duties; for example, spiral loading, truck loading, staging of product and housekeeping.
Follow loading procedure according to load sheets supplied by the Distribution Department.
At times, work independently with minimal supervision.
Any other duties as assigned.
