Relief Driver - CDL Required
About The Position
JOB DESCRIPTION NON-CDL DRIVER Job Duties Responsible for delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co. products within assigned accounts Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products Manages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each account Provides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, PODs collected and all related paperwork. Completion of daily DOT pre-trips and post-trips. Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver License and DOT medical card required
- Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Requires a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to meet company MVR standard
- Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
- Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively
- Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics
- Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
- Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems
Nice To Haves
- Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred
