About The Position

The Relief Cook position at Resort Lifestyle Communities involves providing high-quality, resort-style food and service to residents and guests. This part-time role focuses on creating positive relationships while working collaboratively with the Culinary and Dining Services team under the guidance of the Executive Chef. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to make a difference in the lives of seniors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry.
• Experience working in a team environment, ideally in a culinary setting.
• Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare, and present food on a buffet, as well as cook eggs and omelets as ordered.
• Knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines and able to operate kitchen equipment as needed.

• Prepare and serve dynamic entrees and present high-quality food that is appetizing and personalized to residents' preferences.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen.
