About The Position
Description FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, verify, and receive equipment prior to scheduled dismantling Perform controlled mechanical and electrical disassembly per approved procedures Safely handle, tag, label, and store components to preserve condition and traceability Stage components in correct order, orientation, and grouping by equipment, serial number, and job reference Assist Reliability Engineers with visual and dimensional inspections as requested Drain, clean, protect, and preserve components to prevent damage or contamination Record dismantling details, condition notes, photos, and maintain tracking logs Coordinate with engineering, quality, and shop personnel on schedules and readiness Communicate abnormal conditions observed during dismantling Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, PPE, and material-handling requirement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience with equipment teardown, repair, or shop operations Familiarity with industrial or mechanical equipment Forklift or lifting equipment experience JOB REQUIREMENTS Maintain strong safety culture. Ability to follow work instructions and defined dismantling sequences Strong attention to detail, organization, and traceability Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a shop or industrial environment Capable of standing, lifting, and handling heavy or oil-contaminated equipment Ability to wear PPE and follow safety protocols at all times Must be open to cross-training opportunities. Ability to work in non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop Stand up to 12 hours daily Walk up to 12 hours daily Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily Lifting weight up to 50lbs regularly
