About the position

The position assumes responsibility for the overall safety of the work environment, ensuring compliance with company, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards. The role involves performing Behavioral Safety Observations and Job Safety Analysis as needed, ensuring that the work area is clean, secure, and well maintained. Additionally, the position includes collecting and analyzing data, maintaining technology databases, and reporting results in a clear and concise manner. The individual will assist in program setup, equipment walk down, and information gathering, while also communicating and educating clients about company deliverables. The role requires collaboration with Senior Reliability Specialists to ensure databases are compliant and up-to-date, as well as assisting in the Management of Change Process. The position may involve training in safety and human resource protocols, and the individual must be willing to work on-call and off shift as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for the overall safety of the work environment.
  • Ensures compliance with company, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
  • Performs Behavioral Safety Observations and Job Safety Analysis as needed.
  • Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Collects, analyzes support, and collaborates on reporting for all data.
  • Maintains technology databases with current information.
  • Reports results in a clear and concise manner following company procedures.
  • Assists in program setup as required.
  • Responsible for equipment walk down and information gathering.
  • Communicates company deliverables to the client.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all internal and external communications and reporting.
  • Submits documented case studies for customers.
  • Assists in reporting Nuisance Alarms.
  • Assists in the Management of Change Process.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or special projects as assigned.
  • Follows John H. Carter Co., Inc. policies, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Works collaboratively with development staff and support staff.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able and willing to work on-call and off shift as required by customers or management.
  • Some lifting, bending, and long-term standing required.
  • Ability to monitor baseline data acquisition and assist in analysis troubleshooting.
  • Use of basic hand tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with OSHA requirements and safety training.
  • Familiarity with data collection in inclement weather.
