About The Position

Shaw Industries is looking for a Reliability Tech Lead to provide lead supervision and oversee daily maintenance operations and activities within designated departments. The role involves supervising and evaluating the work of maintenance employees and outside contractors, as well as assisting in the inspection and troubleshooting of maintenance work. Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good computer skills including Excel and internet searching.
• Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts and overtime as necessary.
• Satisfactory work history as defined in personnel file.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.

• Ability to drive/operate company vehicle on company business.

• Verifiable experience performing electrical and/or mechanical work.
• Verifiable experience repairing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign staff based on workloads and schedules.
• Oversee repairs to equipment, machinery, and facility.
• Develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures.
• Ensure staff is trained in electrical maintenance activities.
• Monitor and participate in operations for assigned areas.
• Inspect projects and recommend modifications and improvements.
• Ensure all plant-required PPE is used and maintained.
• Coordinate safety training for maintenance personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Learn and use PeopleSoft procurement system for ordering parts.
• Maintain Maintenance Work Order System and organize work orders.
• Communicate with Department Managers to clarify work orders.
• Inspect work for completeness and train lower-level technicians.
• Report quality and safety problems to management.
• Perform all job duties safely and without injury.
• Maintain Lock out Tag out procedures through Brady software.
