About The Position

The Reliability Tech D position is focused on maintaining and ensuring the capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas of responsibility, impacting optimal efficiencies at the lowest reasonable cost. The role emphasizes safe work practices, high-quality precision work with a customer service orientation, and adherence to standards and best practices acquired through training and work experience. The position also encourages learning and growth in maintenance practices and equipment performance, understanding their impact on manufacturing processes and business objectives, and providing feedback on job assignment needs and improvement opportunities with peers and leadership.

Requirements

• Knowledge of safety practices including LOTO, Confined Space, PPE, PIT, Fall Protection, Hoisting & Rigging, and Hot Work.
• Ability to use a calculator and computer applications for work order documentation and parts requisitioning.
• Basic math skills including arithmetic and conversion of measurement units.
• Ability to read, interpret, and make simple sketches.
• Ability to learn and identify tools and their proper uses.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basics of equipment operations to support familiarization of facility and operations equipment, including regular maintenance activities.
• Execute general maintenance activities at the facility level such as repair needs in office areas, bathrooms, building and grounds.
• Execute routine, defined inspections or setups such as safety and environmental inspection and reporting.
• Collect and record key operational data such as utility meter readings.
• Perform repetitive parts changes not requiring precision measurement and part quality checks.
• Support Reliability Techs C-A in job-site preparation and cleanup.
• Collect, deliver, and return parts and tools.
• Operate PIT during work execution.
• Perform painting and greasing/lubrication tasks.
• Act as a confined space and hot work watch.
