The Reliability Manager is tasked with establishing and managing a top-tier industrial reliability program that emphasizes preventative and predictive maintenance. This role involves collaborating with various operational and maintenance leaders to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency through effective asset health management and root-cause analysis. The manager will oversee maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and major outage planning, ensuring that the asset health management system is accurate and well-maintained.

  • Build and run a world-class industrial reliability program.
  • Drive preventative and predictive maintenance planning through robust asset health management.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and major outage planning and execution.
  • Promote and support a safe and injury-free workplace in an MSHA compliant environment.
  • Develop and implement means to capture failure data and analyze it to furnish reliability reports.
  • Assist in capital projects by providing technical support for design, installation, and start-up of new critical equipment.
  • Support operational continuous improvement efforts as a technical resource.
  • Provide leadership for maintenance staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
  • Define future state plant reliability and set reliability goals, ensuring alignment with operational and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and execute planned outages effectively.
  • Lead the development of the Equipment Maintenance Plan.
  • Utilize the RCA/Corrective action program to improve equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with co-workers on the RCA/Corrective action program for equipment issues.
  • Support process control and information systems documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance planner and maintenance plant supervisor on reliability tasks and outage work.
  • Assist in developing equipment inspection procedures to maintain plant equipment in good working condition.
  • Participate in and support the maintenance work order system for growth and development.
  • Manage costs for site activities, including effective use of contractors and repair materials.
  • Work with all levels of management and be task and project-oriented.
  • Be available to work some off shifts and weekends.
  • Minimum of 5 years of reliability maintenance leadership experience in an industrial environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering.
  • Mechanical aptitude, process equipment, and PLC experience preferred.
  • Experience in capital project support and technical design assistance.
  • Familiarity with maintenance work order systems.
  • Knowledge of RCA/Corrective action programs.
