About The Position

Maintenance/Reliability Technicians are responsible for effective preventative and planned maintenance of site assets to maintain a baseline state. Maintenance technicians are responsible along with operations for equipment operating safely and efficiently to ensure operational conformance and product quality. The maintenance technician effectively troubleshoots breakdowns and contributes to root cause identification and resolution to reduce unplanned downtime. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team skills to support site objectives. Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift, 4 on, 4 off rotation. What will be your key responsibilities? Compliance to the maintenance work schedule including logging appropriate information into AMMS closing work orders when complete. Ensuring PM’s are executed on schedule. Identification of recurring problems and the development of effective solutions to reduce the level of unplanned maintenance. Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs and troubleshoot breakdowns. Knowledge of how to perform and interpret QC tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc. Knowledge of how to maintain accurate records of QC checks, production numbers or waste performance. Able to interpret this data and use in troubleshooting. High degree of ownership for product quality: Able to operate a forklift. Able to operate a computer and utilize the basic standard desktop systems. Understands principles of inventory control and issues parts to work orders to maintain accurate inventories and equipment costs records. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine. Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Knows and follows all plant safety policies and performs work in safe manner. ·Troubleshoot, test, and repair of Single and 3-phase powered equipment, AC/DC controls, AC variable speed and Servo Drives ·Troubleshoot and repair mechanical drive systems ·Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their controls ·Blueprint reading What can you expect from Mars? Responsibilities
