Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering
  • Clear written and verbal communication for reporting findings and collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Attention to detail specifically with data analysis and documentation
  • Working effectively and team collaboration with all departments

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in reliability engineering, statistics, or quality control is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the engineering group by identifying and resolving machine failures and suboptimal performance through creation of work orders, machine analysis, engineering studies, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis
  • Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Inventor software
  • Apply knowledge of industrial control systems and electromechanical systems/principles to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing machine issues
  • Support all company safety objectives through modification or redesign of equipment
  • Provide design and project management support to the Engineering and Maintenance Team
  • Work with third parties to outsource fabrications and procure necessary parts or materials
