About The Position

If you love getting your hands dirty with Infrastructure as Code, mentoring the next generation of cloud engineers, and leveraging the latest AI tools to work smarter, we want you on our team.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing, leading, or acting as the technical lead for a team of at least 6 engineers.
  • Technical: Deep, hands-on experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (specifically Terraform or CloudFormation).

  • Business Acumen: Previous experience in an agency, consultancy, or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment with a clear understanding of billable hours and client service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Mentor: Directly manage, coach, and support a pod of 6+ team members. You will be responsible for their technical growth, day-to-day guidance, and overall performance.
  • Architect & Automate: Design and deploy robust AWS cloud architectures. Champion the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation across all client environments.
  • Leverage AI: Actively integrate AI tools and methodologies into your day-to-day workflow to optimize deployments, troubleshoot issues, and improve team efficiency.
  • Drive the Business: Understand and manage team workflows around billable hours, ensuring client projects are delivered efficiently and utilization targets are met.
  • Ensure Reliability: Participate in our on-call rotation alongside your team to ensure high availability and rapid incident response for our managed services clients.
  • Communicate & Consult: Must be able to lead AWS Well-Architected Reviews with client engineering teams, driving consensus on security, reliability, and cost-optimization best practices.
