The reporting location can be any of the following FE facilities, Akron, OH; Greensburg, PA; Reading, PA; Fairmont, WV; or Holland, OH. The Asset Management Support team provides support to the Asset and Records Control and Power Delivery departments. It is responsible for Transmission Reliability data, metrics and reporting, initiative planning and budget tracking. The team identifies current and future challenges to transmission system reliability as well as coordinating and championing activities to continuously improve reliability. Report transmission performance data to North American Electric Regulatory Corporation (NERC) and North American Transmission Forum (NATF). This position is responsible for analyzing transmission system reliability performance data and determining root causes of transmission system reliability issues. This position is also accountable for determining solutions to resolve transmission system reliability issues, and coordinating / championing those solutions through to implementation. An employee hired at the Engineer IV level will be expected to perform all the above responsibilities with more proficiency, and in a more independent manner. Further, the Engineer IV level employee will be assigned additional responsibilities related to those above.
