About The Position

Summary AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving standardization and implementation of best practices to ensure dependability and performance of systems, focusing on risk management, testing and continuous improvement. Responsibilities and Duties (all other duties as assigned) Leads by example and comply with all AMG V safety and environmental requirements and Company policies and procedures, including AMGs Code of Business Conduct. Embraces and promotes the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activities; foster and promote a positive, respectful work environment that is aligned with AMGs Values. Support the plant teams through facilitation and participation of advance problem-solving techniques Demonstrate effective team facilitation skills to engage the various teams to deliver improvement results on time. Coach/facilitate/participate in plant shop floor teams to continuously improve performance and solve complex problems Drive the improvement of maintenance processes to ensure sustainable asset reliability, including preventative and predictive measures through the analysis of plant maintenance data Collaborates with the 3rd party partners technical group and Company resources to ensure asset management and inventory accuracy, and responsible for driving related maintenance financial efficiency Lead/facilitate projects and/or events which address value-at-stake opportunities, helping to drive improvements in all facets of operations. Accountable for the daily management systems supporting continuous improvement efforts, including defect handling and breakdown elimination (root cause analysis), while supporting equipment centerline and autonomous maintenance activities Participates in the daily shift huddles and direction setting meetings, reporting out on performance metrics and counter measures Engages with production, providing insight to site leadership to promote ownership of equipment and processes Qualifications/Skills/Requirements BS engineering discipline or equivalent experience preferred, CMRP certification required. Proficiency in analytics, data mining and predictive modeling Experience with RCA triggers and facilitating investigations Knowledgeable of maintenance information systems (Maintenance Connection, Maximo, SAP, etc.) Demonstrated application of Reliability Engineering Principles (ex. Requirements

  • BS engineering discipline or equivalent experience preferred, CMRP certification required.
  • Proficiency in analytics, data mining and predictive modeling
  • Experience with RCA triggers and facilitating investigations
  • Knowledgeable of maintenance information systems (Maintenance Connection, Maximo, SAP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated application of Reliability Engineering Principles (ex. Statistical analysis, Pareto, MTBF, MTTR, Reliability modeling)
  • Proficient with predictive and preventative maintenance tools, equipment, and best practices
  • Knowledge of ISO systems and OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Capital project management experience
