We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Reliability Engineer to support and enhance asset performance and maintenance strategies within a dynamic Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environment. This mid-level role contributes strategically to reliability and continuous improvement efforts by applying data analytics, Lean and Six Sigma principles, and key elements of reliability engineering such as failure analysis, asset criticality assessment, and maintenance optimization. The Reliability Engineer collaborates with operations and maintenance teams to assess asset health, analyze performance data, and recommend actionable improvements. While not responsible for enterprise-level program leadership, the role may independently lead internal account-level projects that target improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and enhanced facility operations. This position is ideal for an engineer looking to apply both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving in a collaborative, performance-driven setting.

  • Monitor and report key reliability KPIs by analyzing asset performance data including failure history, downtime, and work orders.
  • Collaborate with site operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and ensure alignment with client goals.
  • Lead reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce reactive maintenance, and enhance operational performance.
  • Support audits and compliance efforts by ensuring procedures, documentation, and data meet internal and client standards.
  • Support maintenance strategy reviews and optimization efforts to align with industry best practices.
  • Assist in root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
  • Conduct failure mode analyses and contribute to asset criticality assessments to guide maintenance priorities.
  • Support capital planning with data-driven insights on asset condition, lifecycle risk, and performance trends.
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Operations and CI&R leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering (preferably Reliability, Industrial, or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university; or 5 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience and/or specialized training in reliability or industrial engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and practical engineering experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in applying the concepts of Continuous Improvement (Lean/SixSigma) in a manufacturing facility and or commercial office maintenance environment.
  • CMMS platform experience required, Corrigo preferred.
  • Maintenance program experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to travel to Canada (valid Passport) preferred.
  • Lean/SixSigma certification is strongly preferred; Ability to achieve Green Belt certification within 12 months.
  • Strong written and verbal command of the English language required.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including macros, Power Query, pivot tables, formula creation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experienced with CMMS and SharePoint platforms for asset management and document collaboration.
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet and the Microsoft Power Suite-including Power BI and Power Automate-is desirable.
  • Ability to quickly understand and apply technical concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and self-management skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating respect for coworkers, vendors, and clients.
  • Customer-focused mindset, committed to meeting internal customer expectations and resolving quality issues.
  • Exceptional spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
  • Lean/SixSigma certification.
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet and the Microsoft Power Suite.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
