Amentum is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our client site in Bothell, WA.   • Act as a Lead Maintenance Subject Matter Expert.
  • Provide support to maintenance teams with development of strategies to sustain low operating costs and improve asset uptime, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Perform evaluations and train teams to identify and eliminate waste, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and increase uptime.
  • Develop and maintain the reliability program.
  • Maintain all PdM program documentation and reports for review with the Program Manager and Client.
  • Perform Facilities Asset Condition Assessments.
  • Conduct predictive maintenance routes including Electrical IR, Mechanical IR, Ultrasonic Lubrication, Ultrasonic Leak Detection, and Machinery Lubrication Analysis.
  • Assist in PM Optimization with the sites Facilities Planner Scheduler.
  • Perform wrench time analysis for optimal PM time intervals.
  • Conduct failure mode effects analysis (FEMA).
  • Review the installation process and assess the reliability of newly installed assets.
  • Measure and optimize system performance.
  • Provide input to a risk management plan for reliability-related risks.
  • Identify potential project problems or opportunities and analyze issues.
  • Generate and follow through to completion all Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for improved reliability.
  • Support MRO Specialist with critical spares generation.
  • Lead weekly continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform high level maintenance planning and materials.
  • Develop predictive maintenance strategies and training tools.
  • Manage the use and implementation of Real Wear headsets for reliability training.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • 2 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance projects.
  • Experience with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MAXIMO, EAMS, or other database systems.
  • Ability to work overtime, holidays, various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
  • Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use.
  • Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client's location.
  • Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • Technical degree preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in best-in-class maintenance practices and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Demonstrated performance as a Reliability Engineer on previous industrial/manufacturing projects.
  • Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment.
  • Certifications in Level I Ultrasound, Vibration, IR, or Oil/Lubrication.
  • Experience interpreting a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
