Amentum is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our client site in Bothell, WA.   • Act as a Lead Maintenance Subject Matter Expert.
  • Provide additional support to maintenance teams with development of strategies that help create processes and programs with the ability to sustain low operating costs and improve asset uptime, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Perform evaluations and train teams to identify and eliminate waste, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and increase uptime.
  • Develop and maintain the reliability program.
  • Maintain all PdM program documentation and reports for review with the Program Manager and Client.
  • Perform Facilities Asset Condition Assessments.
  • Perform predictive maintenance routes including Electrical IR, Mechanical IR, Ultrasonic Lubrication, Ultrasonic Leak Detection, and Machinery Lubrication Analysis.
  • Assist in PM Optimization with the sites Facilities Planner Scheduler.
  • Perform wrench time analysis for optimal PM time intervals.
  • Conduct failure mode effects analysis (FEMA).
  • Review the installation process and assess the reliability of newly installed assets.
  • Measure and optimize system performance.
  • Ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety systems.
  • Provide input to a risk management plan that anticipates reliability-related risks.
  • Identify potential project problems or opportunities and analyze issues.
  • Generate and follow through to completion all Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for improved reliability of key assets.
  • Support MRO Specialist with the creation of critical spares generation.
  • Lead weekly continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform high level maintenance planning and materials.
  • Plan for shutdowns and turnarounds.
  • Develop predictive maintenance strategies and training tools.
  • Manage the use and implementation of Real Wear headsets for optimal reliability training.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field or equivalent demonstrated experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance projects involving planning/scheduling, or a related field.
  • Experience with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MAXIMO, EAMS, or other database systems.
  • Ability to work overtime, holidays, various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
  • Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use.
  • Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
  • Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents.
  • Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • Technical degree preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in best-in-class maintenance practices and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Demonstrated performance as a Reliability Engineer on previous industrial/manufacturing projects.
  • Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment.
  • Certifications in Level I Ultrasound, Vibration, IR, or Oil/Lubrication.
  • Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
