About The Position
As a Reliability Engineer at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment at one of the world's largest online retailers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the site's equipment maintenance and instrument calibration processes. This position requires a proactive approach to developing and implementing preventive maintenance strategies that enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency. You will utilize your leadership skills to provide technical and organizational support, driving continuous improvement in equipment performance. In this role, you will maintain a safety-first culture, ensuring that all employees return home in the same condition in which they reported to work. You will work closely with management to develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies. This includes performing annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure that the work order system library is accurate and that technicians and vendors have balanced schedules. You will also support the maintenance team by developing and improving preventive maintenance and engineering procedures. Conducting inspections and qualitative audits will be part of your responsibilities to ensure compliance with the scope of work. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintenance and reliability planning and measurement, helping to develop a world-class predictive maintenance program focused on the reliability and uptime of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Your role will involve creating technical program playbooks and procedures, performing reliability analysis through root cause analysis and trending, and assisting in the solicitation and administration of maintenance and repair service contracts. You will also provide training on processes and procedures as needed and cultivate positive working relationships with Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) Business Partners and Operations Maintenance team members.
