About The Position

We're building safety-enhancing technology for aviation that will save lives. As a Reliability Engineering Intern at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization. This is a small but growing team of highly motivated people who are passionate about delivering quality products and services with velocity and unquestionable value. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a safety-critical environment that takes automated aviation systems from prototype to production in a hands-on environment.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior standing in 4-year college degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
• Practical experience with engineering design, manufacturing, test and/or software engineering practices.
• Experience with design software (CAD), scripting tools (Python, C, SQL, etc), and fault modeling.
• A demonstrated passion for electromechanical hardware and software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience evaluating, defining, strategizing, and executing test campaigns and investigations.
• Hands on application of electromechanical systems through classes, clubs, or hobbies.
• Excellent measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills.
• Eagerness to both teach and learn.

Responsibilities

• Own at least one project from early conceptual design to new product integration (NPI).
• Work directly with flight hardware in the factory and on the plane.
• Run investigations and containments on safety-critical products.
• Experience the full product development cycle.
• Contribute to high priority and value-added efforts for automated flight systems.
