About The Position

The Reliability Electrician IV is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas to optimize efficiencies at the lowest reasonable cost. The position emphasizes safe work practices, high-quality precision work, and a customer service orientation in support of 'Great Products & Service'. The role includes mentoring Reliability Electrician levels II & III and providing feedback on job assignments and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of safety practices including LOTO, Confined Space, PPE, Hot Work, PIT, Fall Protection, Hoisting & Rigging.
• Ability to use calculators and computer applications for work order documentation and parts requisitioning.
• Proficiency in measurement techniques and tools such as Process Calibrators, oscilloscopes, and data loggers.
• Math skills including arithmetic and application of formulas for current and voltage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Intermediate understanding of e-stop systems and troubleshooting of electrical components.
• Ability to create basic to intermediate PLC programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing process and support equipment to highest performance levels, including electrical systems such as MCC’s, inverters, and motors.
• Troubleshoot and execute repairs of equipment affecting safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate findings and potential causes of issues to operations and maintenance leadership.
• Verify and update electrical schematics in a timely manner.
• Execute and assist in the development of proactive maintenance plans, including preventive and condition maintenance.
• Mentor Reliability Electrician II’s & III’s in skill development while assisting Reliability Electrician V’s.
