About The Position

The Reliability Electrician IV is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas to optimize efficiencies at the lowest reasonable cost. The position emphasizes safe work practices, high-quality precision work, and customer service orientation. The role includes mentoring Reliability Electrician levels II & III while continuing to grow in knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment performance. The electrician will provide feedback on job assignment needs and improvement opportunities with peers and leadership.

Requirements

• Knowledge of safety practices including LOTO, Confined Space, PPE, Hot Work, and Fall Protection.
• Ability to use calculators and computer applications for work order documentation and parts requisitioning.
• Proficiency in measurement techniques and application of tools such as Process Calibrators and oscilloscopes.
• Math skills including arithmetic and application of formulas for current and voltage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Intermediate troubleshooting skills for electrical components including PLC’s and AC & DC drives.
• Ability to create basic to intermediate PLC programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing process and support equipment to highest performance levels, including electrical systems such as MCC’s, inverters, and motors.
• Troubleshoot and execute repairs of equipment affecting safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate findings and potential causes to operations and maintenance leadership.
• Verify and update electrical schematics in a timely manner.
• Execute and assist in the development of proactive maintenance plans, including preventive and condition maintenance.
• Execute assigned work orders in support of projects and process improvement efforts.
• Mentor Reliability Electrician II’s & III’s in skill development.
