The position involves providing technical assistance to SURTASS mission systems, including troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and returning systems to service. Responsibilities include conducting all tenets of In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) duties in accordance with SPAWARINST 5400 (series) and performing intermediate and depot level maintenance on SURTASS mission systems and support handling equipment. The role also requires generating reports on the status of SURTASS mission systems as directed by the government, conducting refresher training (REFTRA) in accordance with the MRR manual and SURTASS O&M Technician CTQM, and reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Changes (ECs), and Requests for Variance (RFV). Additionally, the position involves utilizing the WILD trouble ticket application to log maintenance trouble tickets, reviewing technical manuals and maintenance procedures, and applying the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) System to manage and report on all SURTASS ship variants Planned Maintenance System (PMS). Developing new PMS procedures with technical input from Subject Matter Experts and Original Equipment Manufacturers is also part of the job. Filling this position is contingent upon funding.
