ASRC Federal Infrastructure Support (AFSI), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Reliability Centered Maintenance Engineer to support a prime program at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering school.
• Minimum 8 + years or more of related experiences.
• Experience with RCM methodologies, PT&I technologies, and reliability engineering tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex equipment data.
• Hands-on experience conducting failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Satisfactory completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and continuously improve the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program, ensuring alignment with operational goals and industry best practices.
• Analyze Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) data to detect early indicators of equipment degradation and prevent unplanned downtime.
• Investigate equipment failures—from single incidents to recurring issues—and determine corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
• Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on equipment with multiple or chronic failures, delivering actionable insights and long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
• Support development of maintenance strategies, asset care plans, and reliability standards across the facility.
