The Reliability Asset Integrity Consultant will serve as an overarching advisor for all groups and disciplines within the Reliability Engineering organization. This position will provide expert, technical support related to fixed equipment integrity, materials & corrosion, pipeline integrity and all aspects of production operations and turnaround support as it relates to asset integrity, reliability and efficiency. This position will provide expert, technical guidance to Facilities Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance groups and RMG and will play a key support role in plant turnarounds. Demonstrates strong mentoring capabilities. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Broad Experience: Master practitioner level competency in asset integrity / reliability engineering / maintenance management systems / processes / tools including Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects (FEMA), Asset Strategy development. Track record of improving the reliability of operating assets and increasing plant availability. Demonstrated impact in optimization of preventative and predictive maintenance programs against program cost. Experienced in practical fixed equipment / pipeline inspection, fabrication, and repair strategies. Engineering degree or equivalent preferred in or related to materials and corrosion, fixed equipment remediation, inspection and repair. Emphasis on experience in sour service oil and gas production and processing. Cross functional business experience a plus. Technical Requirements: Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of plant processes and their relation to facility equipment integrity and reliability. Considered an OPCO and industry wide expert in materials selection, corrosion mitigation, and welding in highly sour environments. Utilizes sophisticated engineering analysis and evaluation techniques, reliability methods and process understanding to solve complex, multi-discipline issues. Considered an industry expert in corrosion mitigation, wellheads, pipeline, structural, welding, and materials for sour service. Analyzes and resolves complex and non-routine corrosion/chemical/metallurgical problems. Utilizes significant insight of reliability, engineering, and process knowledge to troubleshoot equipment problems and prevent incidents. Performs complex materials engineering analysis. Consulted by engineers to resolve complicated problems associated with equipment. Solves unusual or complex pipeline problems requiring comprehensive understanding of discipline; integrates understanding of other technologies and customer constraints. Ability to functionally review, comment, edit and steer the outcome of system-wide procedures and specifications.
