Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in Agile/Scaled agile environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Release Training Engineer
  • High School Diploma / GED

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Release Train Engineer (RTE) for Agile Release Trains (ARTs) supporting Retirement and Annuity platforms, including Fixed, Variable, and Indexed products
  • Facilitate SAFe ceremonies: PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and backlog refinement
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Business Owners, and Architecture to align delivery with regulatory, actuarial, and business priorities
  • Drive end-to-end program execution across multiple Agile teams delivering policy administration, new business, underwriting, servicing, and payout capabilities
  • Remove impediments and manage dependencies across teams, vendors, and shared services to ensure predictable delivery
  • Apply hands-on experience with Retirement & Annuity workflows such as contributions, withdrawals, surrenders, annuitization, RMDs, and compliance requirements
  • Track and report ART health metrics including velocity, predictability, program risks, and PI objectives achievement
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on SAFe, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Release Management to ensure quality, environment readiness, and smooth production releases
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Inspect & Adapt outcomes and root cause analysis
  • Foster strong collaboration between IT, business, actuarial, operations, and compliance teams
  • Support modernization initiatives, including legacy policy administration systems, integrations, and digital transformation efforts
