As a Release Manager 2, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of activities supporting the organization’s Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) Refresh Program. This role ensures timely and efficient replacement and procurement of end-of-life DaaS solutions, while maintaining compliance with security and risk standards. Release Manager 2 serves as the primary escalation point for our partner ATOS Refresh Team and lead for Release Manager 1s on the team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of refresh initiatives. The position requires collaboration with global business lines, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in project management functions: defining and executing project plans, identifying resources required, establishing timelines, and monitoring assigned tasks
  • Experience leading the planning, coordination, deployment, and monitoring of hardware installations and upgrades
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (formulas, dashboards) and Word (mail merge).
  • Experience in Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, ServiceNow.
  • Experience with creating and updating technical documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Some technical experience installing and configuring wired and wireless LAN connected hardware, network communications equipment, software, and peripherals at remote and corporate campus facilities
  • Experience leading a team and large projects preferred
  • Good knowledge of quality metrics and tracking.
  • Good knowledge of resource management and tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning and coordination of life-cycle refresh activities across multiple teams and projects, managing overlapping timelines and interdependencies.
  • Collaborates regularly with partner teams to identify opportunities for improving the overall DaaS process, streamlining workflows, and enhancing efficiency.
  • Serve as the escalation point and provide leadership for Release Manager 1s and the ATOS Refresh Team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT stakeholders to understand requirements, scope, and dependencies impacting strategic initiatives.
  • Lead post-release reviews to evaluate process effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
  • Communicate release updates, timelines, and interdependencies to internal and external teams.
  • Report progress and performance to internal team, leadership and external sponsors when needed. Ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Assess requirements and coordinate vendor activities to establish release readiness.
  • Manage scope of work and service updates from vendors; review supporting materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Completes assigned projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines with minimal management involvement.
  • Promote compliance with security, risk, and regulatory standards throughout all refresh initiatives.
