About The Position

We're hiring a Full Time Relationship Officer at our International Falls, Minnesota location! The Relationship Officer is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience and driving growth for the bank through new and expanded customer relationships. As dictated by customer needs, branch staffing and volumes, the Relationship Officer will serve customers on the teller line as well as with deposit accounts and retail loans. This position will be a key contributor to the overall customer experience in the branch. They will create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. Help customers make the most of their accounts by answering questions, completing maintenance, and proactively offering solutions.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years customer service/sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

Opening and servicing deposit accounts and loans for new and current customers and maximizing customer relationships by assessing customer needs and educating on additional banking products.
Contribute to branch goals for growth and relationship deepening.
Actively participate in Retail initiatives and campaigns.
Contact customers and prospects via phone and in person.
Be an expert in all Retail and business products and services, including digital/electronic banking options.
Maintain general knowledge of other bank offerings and partner across departments to refer customers as appropriate.
Serve in a backup capacity on the Teller line when staffing and customer needs merit.
Work retail loan requests within guidelines set by bank policy and regulatory compliance. This will include interviewing the customer, identifying appropriate products, underwriting, and processing approved loans and completing the loan file.
Servicing of loans within your portfolio as originated or assigned. This will include research and maintenance as well as tickler/notice review and past due procedures and reporting.
